Hey.
So apparently when my mac did a file system check the other day it might have found some recoverable fragments.
I haven't noticed anything missing, and I did a recheck today just to be sure that the file system was ok, which it was.
I wasn't thinking too clear at the time, so I just checked the lost+found directory for files and found only a directory named "(lots of numbers here.lck)", but it was empty. I forgot to do a "ls -a" on it, so I didn't get a list of hidden files.
Thought it could be deleted so I did that, and I'm not really having any trouble, but my question is: does OS X hide the recovered parts? Or will they be showed in finder as well?
If it doesn't hide them then I'm safe, because I saw that the directory was empty. If not then I might have to restore from my time machine backup.
Malthe.
